1. Choose a theme for your deck, try and choose more than 1 attributed monster, for example I use dark and light types
2. Choose the main cards for your deck such as if u use like a water deck, u would arm it with umi and tornado wall

3. Choose Supportive cards to get these cards faster such as terrorforming and use cards to help with tornado wall like dark snake syndrome
4. Use MUST HAVE CARDS such as monster reborn, Dark Hole, Change of Heart etc:
